The Future of the Bible

September 5, 2022

Did you know that Bible users ages 18 to 25 would rather interact with the Bible digitally than in print? Check out this quote from the American Bible Society’s 2022 State of the Bible:

“Bible Users… ages 18 to 25, would rather interact with the Bible digitally (apps, websites, computer programs, and audio recordings combining for 54% preference) than in print (46%) …. Digital formats are becoming significant parts of the Bible-reading terrain, taking a place alongside printed Bibles. In addition, digital formats may actually increase the frequency of Bible interaction. Of those who do use Bible apps, about 30 percent do so daily. As people—and especially young people—rely on their phones throughout each day, could Bible apps lead the way to more consistent Scripture engagement?

At Courage For Life, we believe the answer is YES!

Right now, individuals all over the world are searching for courage in the midst of chaos. An inmate desperately longs for encouragement and hope for his future. A single mother working two jobs desires to learn more about God but doesn’t have the opportunity to sit and read her Bible regularly. A church leader painstakingly searches for new ways he can lead his community to engage with the Word of God.

We believe God has positioned Courage For Life for such a time as this!

Courage For Life’s all-female voiced audio Bible encourages individuals to embrace their God-given courage for life. Reading or hearing God’s word awakens and strengthens our faith and is a proven source of wisdom, instruction, and hope that leads us towards true freedom from the spiritual, emotional, and relational issues we face in our day-to-day lives.
